Festivus presents FROLIC- The 10th Anniversary Edition

FROLIC, returns to Central Park’s Great Hill on Saturday July 9th, 2011 to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. This long-running annual art and music event, is a volunteer run community-based event whose purpose is to bring people of all ages together to experience electronic music in a positive, open air setting.

FROLIC is a LEAVE NO TRACE event, so if you bring it into the park, bring it out of the park. Respect the Environment. FROLIC is a pet and family friendly event.

As always this is a FREE event volunteer run event. We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the years, and we invite supporters, both old and new to please lend us your support for this year’s FROLIC. All donations through Kickstarter are used to off-set the costs involved with doing this event. Proceeds from this event will go to help support NYC children’s music education programs.

Keep in mind that NYC law does not allow for open alcoholic beverages in public spaces, so plan accordingly. Bring your blanket, your food, your dancing shoes, and smiling faces.

The Spaces:
Medina – a Moroccan tent experience, fully draped in crimson, orange and yellow fabrics. Hand made steel chandeliers that will glow and transmit you into a magical world. Where Glitter Goddesses swing overhead and Fever Dolls worship you in a silk and beaded bed chamber. And at the mecca of this experience is a custom built Moroccan Temple housing our musical sharmins… ready to take you deep into the sound of the desert.

Casba- Where grand chandeliers are dripping of the finest fabrics and hooded warriors sword fight 15 feet above the crowd. Custom steel Moroccan chandeliers reflect exotic shapes onto the dancing harems and Sultans of the evening.

Magic Carpet- come take a ride on the Magic Carpet, where you can relax and feast on the finest desserts and treats of the Meditterean. Suck on a variety of chocolate morsels and warm the senses with exotic teas.
